The Acoustic Design Catalogue is part of the Acoustic Design Library and developed to:
- help building designers quickly find the acoustic solutions they need
- connect them with brands and suppliers for a smooth procurement

What you will find
The Acoustic Design Catalogue is a register of acoustic products and solutions for buildings and constructions.
It is organised into three main categories.
(beta version)
Sound insulation solutions
They include acoustic doors, resilient bars, glass wool products, resilient / sound isolation clips, acoustic underlays and others.
Click on the image below to access them.
Sound absorption solutions
They include wall panel systems, ceiling systems, acoustic sprays, suspended acoustic rafts, acoustic perforated systems and others.
Click on the image below to access them.
Many other subcategories can be found.
Examples are:
You can also filter the solutions and products by:
- material
- supplier / manufacturer / brand
- performance
- dimension
Other filters will follow as the beta version improves

Once a month, Atelier Crescendo sends information such as recent activities, the last posts published on the Acoustic Blog, some acoustic tips, a review of some products recommended for acoustic design and some upcoming events/webinars.
Sustainability agenda
Not all acoustic solutions are sustainable, and those that may have limitations in other areas, such as moisture resistance, fire safety/resistance or durability.
Therefore, the Acoustic Design Catalogue cannot consist solely of sustainable options.
However, we actively seek products and solutions made from natural materials, or those with manufacturing, installation, or disposal processes that are environmentally friendly.
We see it as our responsibility, and a small contribution, to help make construction as close to net zero as possible with minimal offset.

Link with the Acoustic Blog
The Acoustic Design Catalogue (ADC) is linked to the Acoustic Blog. Meaning:
- the Acoustic Blog explains how acoustic products and solutions work.
- links are made to the Acoustic Design Catalogue to find the products and solutions available on the market.

Manifesto
When we created the Acoustic Design Catalogue (and the Acoustic Design Library), we had clear intentions and values in mind.
It is important for us to document them.
Firstly, to proudly share them with our design and brand members to communicate what we stand for.
Secondly, to guide ourselves and remain resilient when we face (tough) decisions.
Here they are for the Acoustic Design Catalogue.
Sustainable
We actively seek products and solutions made from natural materials, or those with manufacturing, installation, or disposal processes that are environmentally friendly.
We see it as our responsibility, and a small contribution, to help make construction as close to net zero as possible with minimal offset.
Efficient
Although we don’t sell anything, we are developing the Acoustic Design Catalogue to help Design Members quickly find what they need and connect with the right Brand Members as efficiently as possible.
Connecting
We believe it is essential to establish a strong connection between designers and solution suppliers or manufacturers.
Firstly, this enables designers to gain a deeper understanding of the installation requirements and performance characteristics of solutions, which are often highly specific to each product.
Secondly, it allows designers to better assess the costs of various solutions, which can vary significantly even when delivering the same acoustic performance. This understanding directly contributes to cost efficiency and helps maintain construction project budgets.
Discovery
Designers may not have the time to browse websites and brochures for solutions.
So, we aim to make it easy for them to discover materials, Brand Members and solutions they weren’t aware of.
Quality
All data displayed on the Acoustic Design Catalogue is bakeded by test reports issued by reputable testing facilities and organisations.
ACCESSIBLE
Brand Members don’t require a large marketing budget to list their solutions.
We want to maintain this approach, as it allows smaller companies with outstanding solutions to also be seen by our Design Members.
OPEN
We will continue gathering feedback from our members on what works and what doesn’t.
If you have suggestions for improvements or have noticed a glitch, you can share them by following this link.
Educative
As a platform of the Acoustic Design Library, we try our best to explain how solutions work acoustically using accessible language and visuals that are easy for everyone to understand.
This approach is applied not only in the Acoustic Design Catalogue but also on the Acoustic Blog.
